Round Towers. Ancient Egyptian Technology
Growing up in Ireland the history books told us that they were Bell Towers to call the faithful to prayer since they were mostly found near churches and monasteries. Some say they could have served as lookout posts. Historians familiar with the turbulent times in which they were built, between the 9th and 12th centuries, suggest that they were erected as a refuge for the monks and precious religious articles from rampaging Viking raids which occurred at that time. It also explains the entrance door being high above the ground for when attacks were imminent, the monks could enter the towers by a ladder which they would pull up behind them. The round, reinforced design of the towers made them nearly impenetrable to battering rams and because they were made of stone, they couldn’t be burned down.
But a more likely use and purpose only found me about three years ago on my return to Ireland.
On a visit to Loughavalla farm in the Burren the owner of the farm Henry moved to Ireland in 1971 in a effort to pursue the Celtic way of farming. He noted during his time with cattle over the years that cows that were about to calf would often stay close to such towers. At some point along the way he came in contact with the person who wrote a book about the round towers of Ireland.
This person was American and was stationed in the UK and for a while in the North of Ireland. Having a background in electronics, he became fascinated with the round towers. He placed the round towers of Ireland on a map (over 100 of them) and the layout looked strangely familiar to him. At some point in his musing he realized where he had seen the map before.
As a youth he spend a good deal of time in the desert and he used the stars as navigation, He recognized that the layout of the round towers in Ireland was a mirror of the stars in the sky – the key constellations. This was no coincidence.
Again when we apply our logical mind to the stories and uses that we have been told of these in the past. Now if you had a lot of valuables, people you wanted to hide and protect – would you hide them in the tallest tower and building that would be visible for miles and miles?
I think not, definitely not.
So what are they?
They are frequency generators that harness the earth energy and amplify it into the local general area to assist with the growing of crops and the balancing and harmonizing of the earth energy in the area.
The majority of the round towers I have visited over 25 now at this moment. The grass that is growing in the fields next to them is longer and greener than any I have ever seen, lush, think and vibrant. I grew up on a dairy farm in Ireland, I have walked many fields. I noticed this particularly on the approach to a monestary in Clare at a location were I did not know there was a tower before I got there. Having been to more than a few of these locations in the past few years, I noted the long grass on the approach to the monastery, when I saw it, my first thought was – I wonder if there is a round tower here? and yes, yes there was.
These towers are placed at key locations in Ireland. Some are on ley-lines in the earth and some are just attached to buildings and locations without any significance to where they are being built save just the fact that there is a church nearby.
Who Built them? It depends on the time of building
In some instances they were built by the early Christian Church. I believe that the monks around the 300-600 time period still had access to the more ancient knowledge that came with locating the energetic lines under the ground. Ones built in that time period are specific in their general location. Ones built since 1100 may or may not have significnace, sometimes they were built as replacements for ones that were damaged and sometimes they were just built because the church was being built.
You have to understand, when the Catholic Church expanded in Ireland, churches were built in places that had energetic significance to the Celtic people who are our ancestors. These places were significant to our early ancestors as the earth energy in these locations was without a doubt to me potent.
